Rome Notes was founded on one conviction: that fine fragrance is the most intimate form of self-expression. Our founder — a trained perfumer who spent a decade sourcing rare ingredients across four continents — set out to build a house with no compromises.
The Craft
Every formula at Rome Notes begins the same way: an emotion. Our perfumers are asked not “what should this smell like?” but “what should this feel like?” The answer dictates everything — from the top notes that greet you to the base that lingers long after you’ve left the room.
We work exclusively with naturally derived ingredients wherever possible. Oud from Assam. Rose absolute from Taif. Ambergris accord from sustainable marine sources. The pursuit of quality is obsessive, borderline unreasonable — and entirely intentional.
Each fragrance undergoes an average of 18 months of development before it reaches our customers. We reject more ideas than we launch. That is how it should be.
